Mars cameo brooch – yellow gold, white gold, diamonds and shell cameo

Refined and elegant 18 kt yellow and white gold brooch with diamonds and shell cameo depicting the god Mars.
This jewel made entirely by hand with the fretwork technique, is inspired by a typical Florentine Renaissance goldsmith’s art, where the metal was worked in such a way as to reproduce ornamental designs used on fabrics or lace; the metal was then further refined through the burin engraving, thanks to which matt and glossy chromatic contrasts were obtained, giving life to completely unique decorations.
The back, in addition to a meticulous finish that enhances the light of the diamonds (a-jour), shows the monogram of my initials (I.B) on the bottom of the cameo.

Small yellow gold plates with soft and abstract lines create the shape of the Cassis Rufa shell flower, a unique jewel further embellished with a soft freshwater pearl that hangs in the lower part of the pendant, all enclosed in a design where it forms and elegance blend in perfect harmony.

A flower in sardonic shell from which emerges a delicate hybrid body in yellow gold, Mother Nature, which has the appearance of a marine mermaid who opens her arms along the petals of the flower as if she were a butterfly, perfect representation of a union between sea and Earth.

Thanks to the particular modeling created specifically on the shape of the flower, the jewel turns out to be a unique piece, a pleasant jewel to wear on any occasion…

IN THE HEART OF THE SEA

The jewel, made of white gold, combines materials of different origins, another example of union between sea and land, a pink shell and a precious black Tahiti pearl are in fact set through a refined frame of the noble metal,
further adorned by the presence of some small blue diamonds.
The pink element is precisely the heart of the Caribbean shell from which it was made, a soft and delicate shade that holds the natural jewel that comes from the sea, a beautiful black pearl from Polynesia. The gold frame follows a soft and sinuous line like a delicate wave that wraps and embeds the shell, the blue diamonds create small luminous points of that intense color which further contributes to evoking the thalassic environment.
A unique jewel closely linked to the sea, colors and shapes in perfect harmony destined to cross the time…

MARINE FLOWER

The title of the jewel is a clear play on words based on the protagonist of the pendant, emphasizing its reference to the marine world due to the material it is made of.
A soft pink shell, skilfully worked in the shape of a flower is partially wrapped in a refined yellow gold structure which, thanks to its delicate trend, recalls the soft lines of Art Nouveau, in the center of the flower, a further note of color is given by the presence of a blue sapphire, also reminiscent of the color of the sea, the intense blue of its depths, in a delicate chromatic contrast with the pink of the shell, it further enhances the aesthetic effect of the whole jewel.
Each flower contains a particular beauty, shapes and colors are always different, unique, uniqueness like a jewel forever…
