Luxury pendant: The little clown

Pendant in 18 kt yellow and white gold with red coral and brown diamonds.

The jewel was made entirely by hand, the clown obtained through a skilful burin engraving of the coral and the precious metal applied to it was worked through various techniques: from wax modeling and subsequent investment casting, to the tulle fretwork carried out directly on the metal .

The jewel is a unique piece that contains in small spaces a set of high craftsmanship, with only 8.45 grams of gold it is possible to see a juxtaposition of goldsmith techniques of the Florentine Renaissance to a material with warm colors typical of a Mediterranean style.

Refined and elegant 18 kt yellow and white gold brooch with diamonds and shell cameo depicting the god Mars.
This jewel made entirely by hand with the fretwork technique, is inspired by a typical Florentine Renaissance goldsmith’s art, where the metal was worked in such a way as to reproduce ornamental designs used on fabrics or lace; the metal was then further refined through the burin engraving, thanks to which matt and glossy chromatic contrasts were obtained, giving life to completely unique decorations.
The back, in addition to a meticulous finish that enhances the light of the diamonds (a-jour), shows the monogram of my initials (I.B) on the bottom of the cameo.

Ciondolo in oro giallo e bianco con lapislazzuli

A delicate and unique setting envelops the blue colored gem, an oval cabochon cut lapis lazuli.
The white gold alternates with the yellow one, highlighting a chromatic contrast that is well suited to the tone of the stone.
A stone with a simple, linear cut, in stark contrast to the meticulous workmanship applied to the metal, the white gold is in fact finely perforated, the honeycomb workmanship that surmounts the stone is clearly visible on its surface, allowing a glimpse of the blue color through the texture of the metal, a white gold shell that develops a shape in the center that is somewhat attributable to a puzzle piece, as if to symbolize that each piece can be unique. The metal setting then proceeds in the lower part with a yellow gold cord that encircles and closes the perimeter of the lapis lazuli.
A jewel as unique as the person who will wear it…
